Current Chief ministers of Indian states

According to Article 163 (Part VI) of Indian Constitution, each state of India should have a Council of ministers (group of ministers with allocated responsibilities “portfolio“) headed by a Chief minister. Its main work is to aid and advise the Governor of that state.

Current Chief ministers of Union Territories of India (applies only on Delhi & Puducherry)

Article 239 A (For Puducherry) and Article 239 AA ( For National Capital Territory of Delhi) in Part VIII of Constitution of India makes special provisions for a Council of minsters with a Chief minister as its head to aid and advise their respective Administrators (called Lieutenant Governors in both UTs). The remaining 6 Union Territories have no such provisions.
